On the first day of school growing up we would always have a ROOTBEER FLOAT PARTY! Might be the only time during the year we have them, but it's tradition and we have kept it going! So we invited a bunch of kids over to help celebrate the start of the new school year!

The kids ran a muck outside and had a great time!

i LOVE this tradition! ever since we've been married we've done it, and it makes the first day of school not seem quite so bad :)
