With this look on her face....

And as serious as can be... while brushing her teeth and whining at the same time Halie says:

Why did I have to grow teeth?... Now I have to brush them...
and I don't want to!!!

Where did she come from! She cracks me up...daily! Love this girl!

LIttle Braxton!

No this is not my newborn... but I wish he were here! This is my darling nephew Braxton.... picture courtesy of Halie! ... We had a little BBQ a week or so ago at our house with my brothers/ sis in laws and Braxton. It was so much fun... and Halie took a lot of random pics of peoples shoes, the ceiling... and this one of me and Braxton! So I thought I would share it! :) Braxton and my baby will be about 6 months apart and I am excited that they can be little buddies!

Micah LOST Tooth #2 {Literally}

Sunday brought lots of drama when Micah realized his second tooth was really close to falling out! It was hanging on by a thread and all day it was flopping around his mouth but he would not pull it out! He whined for hours not wanting to go on a walk, not wanting to jump on the trampoline, or go to the park because "his tooth might fall out and it could get lost and then the tooth fairy wouldn't come!"

We kept reassuring our little worrier that he would not "loose" the tooth.. he would feel it fall out and we would put it in a ziploc bag and the tooth fairy would come!

Well who would have thought that night at our weekly visit with Jason and Cara {my cousin} his tooth fell out while he was eating and .... he swallowed it... or he lost it!? Either way he has no proof of the tooth.

So.... We wrote this letter to the tooth fairy: (Micah's words)

Dear Tooth Fairy,

I was at Camden's house tonight and I was eating a rice crispy treat and I felt something that felt like a nut or something... and I swallowed it and it was my tooth. Could you still give me a dollar? Thanks, Micah

The tooth fairy came through! She left a dollar and all is good! Crisis averted!

SURPRISE!

My sister and mom planned a SURPRISE family baby shower for me a few weeks ago when my mom, aunt and grandma came to visit! I had no clue and it was so much fun! My sister did such a good job with the decor and food... and my mom did a good job funding the operation! (ha ha)

Here are a few pics! It was a blast! Thanks Mom and Megan... You are the best!
And thanks Matt and Becky for letting us use your house and Marc and Janelle for the deadly chocolate dessert that added pounds to my stomach! Cara my cousin was working but sent a delicious salad and Jason brought their kids which made it way fun! Thanks everyone!:)
It looked so cute when we walked in!
Megan is so creative!

Spring Break in Vegas {2011}

We decided to get away to Vegas for Spring Break!
The kids were so excited and so were we!
Micah's quote when we checked out where we were staying:
"THIS IS ALL I COULD EVER DREAM OF!"
So the first thing we did was head to the beach/pool! The kids were in heaven!
The entire pool was only 3 1/2 feet deep... perfect for kids!
The sand made it extra fun!
After the pool the kids begged to go and watch the planes
take off at the airport! Cheap entertainment!
The kids could have stayed for hours!
Just a cute pic of Halie!
After plane watching we headed to Viva Mercados...
gotta love cell phone pics! Halie loves her dad!

The next day we slept in and headed straight to the pool when it opened!
The kids would not leave! We pretty much spent the whole day swimming!
HEAVEN! Micah and I decided we should just live there!
Micah also said when I was putting my swim suit on "DOES MOM REALLY HAVE TO WEAR A SWIM SUIT TO THE POOL!"
So sad! He is already getting embarrassed of me!

After a day of swimming we got ready for dinner and the
Hoover Dam with Uncle Micah and Aunt Whitney!
Halie wouldn't take a pic with us until she got one with Aunt Whitney...
apparently they are way cooler than us!
A family shot! Jeff finally has his eyes open... now we will work on a smile!
Micah nervous ... Halie running down the stairs!
So grown up... and such good helpers!
This will be nice when the baby is born!
Doing a little sight seeing!.... Cesar's Palace! The kids loved the real mall!
And all the escalators!
Checking out the lions at the MGM!
Little buddies!
Halie LOVED all the characters on the strip and wanted pics with everyone...
Micah not so much!
She was so excited!
Walking the strip! Hold on tight... I was a little nervous myself!
The MNM Factory! The kids were so excited to see this... But Micah says as we walk in "This is not what I was picturing... I thought it was where they made MNM's not just sell MNM stuff!"
But they did enjoy filling their bags with candy! I hope so for $13 a lb!

Halie looked at me asked if the bear bit... and next thing I knew...
she ran under the ropes and was posing with the bear... the workers loved her!
The kids LOVE escalators! Not elevators! And the good thing is they are
everywhere in Vegas... not so much in St. George... so it was like we were at
Disneyland going up and down so many times!
What trip to Vegas is complete without the Coke Factory...
again disappointing to Micah but they had a good time teasing
me about all the Diet Coke stuff!

We had such a fun time! I am glad we got to spend some quality time together
before the baby arrives! I am certain our easy little life might
be drastically changing once he arrives!

LuCkY uS...

This morning we woke up and were surprised that the leprechauns
had paid a visit... and boy did they make a mess! Even bigger than last year!
The kids were prepared the night before and made sure
they were wearing lots of green!
Confetti was everywhere mixed with tons of gold and green candies...
green bubbles and gold coin necklaces!
If you are in the family you got this picture sent to your phone!
No one is pinching us today!
The kids loot!
Halie is into taking pictures lately and wanted one by herself! Like her pose?
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
