Micah has Been Waiting....

for THIS day for a LONG time!

The smile on his face when

A. He figured out his tooth was loose and...
B. When his tooth finally came out weeks later was priceless!!
It was pretty much like Christmas Eve around here! We wrote our letter to the
Tooth Fairy
asking if we could keep his first tooth and still get a dollar...
And he went to bed happily and was SOOO excited to see if the tooth fairy would really come!

Good news she came and he got his dollar and got to keep his tooth!
How can you not love a toothless smile! I think he looks so adorable! It brings a smile to my face to see his little tooth gone!
LOVE IT!

Happy New Year...

Farwell 2010! Bring on 2011!

For New Years this year we celebrate with the whole family at "Uncle Matt and Aunt Becky's House!" We also celebrated Christmas with my family! We had a great time!

Here is my cute dad playing a game of Yahtzee with the grandkids!
He was really in to it! The kids were loving every second! ;) What a good grandpa!
It isn't New Year's in our family without two things: Banana's dipped in Chocolate and the Enjoy Yourself Song! {Dancing around to this song not pictured thank goodness!} Micah enjoyed every second of these traditions! :)

We are so excited for this upcoming year. Last year was quite the year... we are looking forward to better things this year! We are thrilled to have our new baby to look forward too! {More ultrasound pics coming soon!} Happy New Year to You All!

Pray For my Sanity!

So Jeff was called to be in the bishopric of our new ward when they decided to dissolve our existing ward and split us up into 3 different wards. So needless to say since December Sunday's have been quite fun! Trying to get the kids ready and to church by myself by 9:00 am is not the easiest thing I have ever done... and I don't think the baby is going to make it any funner! Ha Ha!

Here are the kids a few weeks later! Proud we were on time!
Not so on time when I do Halie's hair like this!!
I am grateful for an awesome bishop and am excited to meet new people in our ward!

cHrIsTmAs 2010

This year for Christmas we headed to Salt Lake to spend Christmas with
Grandma/pa Hyde, Uncle Chris, Aunt Katey and Cousin Kiley!
And boy were the kids excited!
Here they are having some fun with dad outside playing frisbee!
We were expecting to be playing in the snow
but were just as happy with the frisbee!
The kids were entertained decorating cookies for
Santa on Christms Eve while us girls got dinner ready!
Here is our cousin Kiley! The kids had so much fun playing with her!
We got into our new Christmas Jammies and were ready for Santa to come!
Our little family on Christmas Eve!
Next year the pic will have a new addition!
Gma and Gpa got the kids a special present to sleep with on Christmas Eve!
Pillow Pets! They were so excited {besides Halie and her attitude!}
Uncle Chris and Micah tracked Santa all day!
And had to have one last look before bed! He was getting close!
Jeff keeping Halie happy... she is a daddy's girl!
Trying to get a Christmas Eve shot... but...
Halie was not in the picture taking mood... surprise...
She wanted to bite instead!
So we wrote our letters to Santa! Micah wanted to write his own!
He made sure the fire place was ready.... and....
The kids got the cookies out for Santa...
Then grandma read "The night before Christmas" to the kids!
We did our traditional stocking march and went off to bed!

And at some point that night SANTA ARRIVED!
{and boy did he spoil the kids this year!}
Christmas morning!
Baby Hoodin' pile! (*see Hoodin post)
Micah's loot!
Thank you Santa for being so smart to deliver the Trampoline to our house!
My favorite gift! Micah made me a Christmas ABC book! He told he he has been working on it since like the first day of school!
We gave the kids a trip to Disneyland.
Halie's presents! {Favorite gifts: Barbie Mustang, Newborn baby, Doll house}
Baby Hoodin' even got spoiled!

Micah couldn't look up from his new game for the picture!
{Favotie Gifts: Bike, DS Games, Lincoln Logs and Trampoline}

We played... stayed in our pajamas all day...visited Great Gpa {Big Guy}... some of us took naps... some played games... Jeff and Chris put together Micah's ridiculous 2 hour marble track... and we had a fun visiting and enjoying watching the kids play with their toys!

And by the end of the day we were exhausted!
A day late came our White Christmas Wishes:
And the kids built this huge snowman with the help of some friends...

And then came in and played more games!

Thanks for a wonderful Christmas Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Chris, Aunt Katey and Kiley!
WE HAD A BLAST!

Baby Hoodin'

Here is baby Hoodin'! Let me explain the name:

Halie one day out of the blue, before we even knew we were having a boy, woke up and said
"I KNOW WHAT WE ARE GOING TO NAME OUR BABY :: BABY HOODIN' "

In which I replied baby who? ...

and then she said {like it's a normal name or even a word}:: Baby HOODIN' Mom!

And since then we have joked that that is his name!...

And due to the fact we haven't chosen a name yet, we have called him Hoodin'.

Although don't worry this will not be his name once he is born if you read in a post about baby Hoodin' we are referring to our baby boy!

Baby Hoodin' Update:

I am now 23 weeks and this little guy is very busy! He loves kicking and moving especially when I lay down or sit! We are so so excited for him to come!!! I am starting to get everything organized and we are excited to go get a new crib, car seat, and basically everything we need for a baby since we got rid of everything!

We are excited to have so much to look forward to this year! :)
