My LITTLE VALLEY LIONS!

I can't believe I have 2 kids in Elementary School!  Two time the fun!  They were so exctied for their first Spirit Day (Every Friday) so that they could wear their School Shirts!  They had them layed out the night before to make sure I didn't forget!  So cute!
Halie rockin' the school shirt!

It melts my heart to see these two walking together after school!   Best part of my day everyday!

This does not melt my heart... trying to get pics of them.
Notice the moving boxes behind them!!~

This little Missy...

This little missy is OHHH SOOO FUN to take pictures of (NOT REALLY!)  She hates me to take her picture... she always says I can take one picture and that's it... so I learned a trick.. If I take the picture on my phone and turn it on silent with no flash then I can take lots of pictures while pretending not to and then I can get her non possessed real smile that is darling as can be!  Amber was at church with me and was laughing at the screen full of pics to get the one good pic of Halie!  This was her on her second day of Kindergarten with curls because the first day it was DOWN POURING!

Kindergarten Outfit....

Grandma Ruth has a tradition of getting each grandchild an outfit for each kids their first year of school!  Halie went to California with Micah for a week and while they were there Halie got to shop with Grandma and pick out this darling outfit.  Grandma said Halie was a little tricky to shop for.  She had an opinion about everything!  But they found just the right outfit!  Thanks Grandma!!

More MICAH first DAY of 3rd Grade pics

Sometimes I look at my pics once choose my favorite and post them... but then a month or so later I look at them and have different favorites!  Here is what it was really like on the first day of 3rd Grade at a new schooL!

Brock is always tricky to get to hold still!

So we tried sitting... but Halie wasn't looking...

Still not perfect... but they were done..

THis is when I left him... Jeff was at the door horrified that I was taking pictures... I was tearing up... it was awful!

I still can't believe he is in 3rd grade!

SUMMER FUN 2012

Halie's First Day of Kindergarten!

I had to take deep breaths all day!  I can't believe my stay at home doll was actually starting really school!  What will I do without her every afternoon!  What will Brock do?  We don't know!  But she has been anxiously awaiting this day for a long time.  Once again, she is starting at a new school... doesnt know a soul but I'm not a bit concerned... she is a fiesty little girl and will make friends quickly.

Unfortunetly it rained (downpoured the first day of school which was a Wednesday, the day we go to the library and lumch and then to school.. so we put on our warm clothes and headed out for our routine Wednesday morning... then off to her first day!
Here she is not to happy because she really wanted her hair curly for the first day... rain = no curls!
But she looked like a doll anyways.

Here she is in front of her classroom bulletin board.  Right after I dropped my huge camera and broke it ... Shucks!
 Holding her teachers sugar cookie!
Halie and Mrs. Guynn

And this is when she said... "Mom wait till you get to the car to cry ... K "  and the only reason she smiled so nicely was so I wouldn't make a scene!  Ps.  The little blonde  next to her would become one of her best buddies... also named Halle!

By the time we got to school.. the rain had dried up... if we had only done her hair curly she would have thought it was the perfect day! She LOVED SCHOOl!

Micah's First day of 3rd Grade @ a New School!

This summer brought lots of change and excitement (only to be a tad bit delayed) but in the mean time the kids started and are going to a NEW SCHOOL!  Little Valley Elementary.  On this day we were going to be closing on a home in Little Valley within a month and so we started them at this school!  Micah ABSOLUTELY LOVES THE NEW SCHOOL SINCE DAY 1!  I dropped him off to a new school where thankfully I knew one (fabulous) teacher who helped me decide who to get for teachers ;)  But I dropped him off to the teacher I didn't know in a portable that was crammed with 30 kids with no cutesy anything on the walls, it was serious business and I wasn't quite ready for it.  I cried as I left him sitting in the room with no friends not knowing a soul at the school.  And Micah... he was as calm and collected as could be!  And when I picked him up 6 1/2 hours later he came out with a huge smile rambling on about how nice his teacher was and how how much better this school was and how he had a wonderful day.  And so I am a happy mom.

LAST DAY OF SUMMER...

We couldn't just let the last day of summer pass us by.  So we decided to go somewhere we hadn't ever gone before... the Wildlife Museum.  And although we will probably never go again, it was fun.  Nancy joined us and it made the last day of Summer feel a little more exciting!

DON'T YOU JUST WANT TO KISS THIS FACE!  I DO!  GETTING READY TO GO... HE WAS HYPER AND MAKING ME SMILE!

Trying to tell him where we were going... Sounds interesting,,,

Nancy isn't the best iPhone photographer, but we still love her!

The kids were so excited!  The animals were pretty awesome!

Brock was freaking out!  Screaming... making all sorts of sounds... I had to keep his binky in so he wouldn't interupt everyone!

YELLING!

Telling my how cool it was!  Then my camera died... the end!

Special Visitors!

Our friends Rita and her daughter Shyanna came to visit and to see Hairspray at Tuachan!  It was fun to catch up with them and go to dinner!  Halie had a sleepover with Shyanna at Grandma Rhea's House and I'm pretty sure she thought it was the best thing ever!  So fun when friends come to visit!

Church...

We go every Sunday.  Jeff leaves early before we wake up to head to meetings.  He is in the bishopric of our ward.  He loves his calling and loves to serve.  I am working on loving it.  Ha.  I am left at home to get three kids and myself ready by 11:00 which doesn't sound bad at all but for some reason it feels like such a large task when I have to do it all by myself!  But over the last 2 years me and the kids have got our routine down, and now if there is ever a Sunday when Jeff doesn't have meetings before church he cramps our style.
Halie of course is the most work to get ready... Brock usually takes a morning nap and we throw his clothes on as we walk out the door... that way he only has the few steps it takes to get in the car to destroy his clothes.  Micah is a stud and gets himself dressed every week.  Most the time happily.  He is such a big help.

Halie typically throws a fit about atleast one item she has to wear so I let her choose how she wants her hair done, which is typically curly.
You're never to old to bring your doll to church... right?
Walking in... Brock just a few steps behind...
I want my kids to know how important it is for us to go to church!  Although it is alot of work to get them there every week it is the most important three hours of our week!  They are taught such good principles and values and are being taught the important things in this life.  I am proud of them for wanting to go and being excited to learn!
LOVE THESE KIDS!
