Easter 2013

I got thinking today It's our last Easter and our last holiday at this house. Our very first holiday at this house was Easter and Micah was 9 months old! And now he is almost 9 years old. It makes me a bit sad. This is where we have raised our babies! I a bit feel like the day we move the kids will all the sudden be so much older. Needless to say we had another fabulous holiday here and will miss the comfortableness of our home! But are looking forward to fun in our new house! Today we woke up to an Easter Egg hunt and baskets. Ate a yummy cinnamon roll breakfast, went to church, has nancy over for a little Easter dinner, then ended the day at the park with an Easter Egg hung with the cousins! It was so much fun!

Day "Who Knows"

Painting happened! Panic happened along with. How do you pick a color for
A whole house for what seems like will be he rest of your life? Every choice I make I ask myself... Will I like this in 5 years? It's like trying to pick one outfit to wear for the rest of your life! Impossible I tell you! So I am trying to go as classic, clean and simple as possible so that it won't be dated a year from now. We shall see how it all comes together. Here are some pics! We ended up meeting jeff out there for dinner lastnight after the painting was done for the day to evaluate the color. Every room pulls a little different but overall I feel good/ok about the color. They are laying our wood floors starting tomorrow! Yay!

Day 50ish

Gray coat is on (i repeat gray coat... this is not the final color or finish on the outside!) drywall is completely up and being textured as I write this. House is being painted on the inside this weekend! I've chosen the stone and brick, and stucco color that will be put on in a week or two. The floors will be laid next week and then cabinets will go in!! It's going fast!!! After cabinets come finish carpentry! It's going so fast!!! Yay!

Happy Travels

On our way to California with our good friends Matt and Melissa Reynolds for a little Disneyland Vacation! They called us and said lets go and we agreed without hesitation! Melissa and I did a wonderful job planning the trip I must say:). Here we are on our way in the rainy weather. Our first stop my gma and gpas! They were wonderful hosts! Thx mom and dad!

DISNEYLAND VACATION. DAY 1

We left my parents house after a good dose of Pam's donuts and headed straight to Disneyland for a day of fun! We rode Matterhorn about a million times, rode mine and Halies favorite ride "It's a small World" and had a blast! We went back to the hotel in the later afternoon to swim, and the guys took the big kids back to the park for the night while me and Melissa Reynolds stayed back and let the babies sleep!
