Last Day of 4th and 1st!

I'm not quite sure how these years keep going by so quickly.  I feel like we just sent them out the door for their first day, and now it's summer again!  They've loved school this year!

Micah especially has loved his teacher!  He got up early everyday and made sure he was there by 8:30, bless her soul!  He'd always say, mrs. Mcbride needs my help, etc.  i think he just loved being around her!  she is amazing!  He also loved being in the school choir and is looking forward to it next year!  He has grown so much academically and I feel like this year has given him the boost he needed!

Halie has loved first grade and has done amazing this year!  She has scored 10/10 +2 on every single spelling test, except the last week of school.  She missed one word, and it was the worst day of her life!  She has so many cute friends, but the best thing about halie in first grade this year is that she would sneak a doll in her backpack to play with at recess almost everyday!  I love love love that she loves dolls!  The worst part about the year was getting her dressed every morning, emotional wreck... Couldn't quite ever come to an agreement!  She's a girl... What do you do?!

Mrs. Mcbride and mrs mcArthur
After school on the last day we ambushed the kids with water balloons!  It was so fun!  A huge water fight broke out!  Such a fun way to kick off summer!
Then we headed to our house for Popsicles!
We ended the night with a pizza party at the Bernardo's!

SUMMER IS OFFICIALLY HERE!!

12 years and counting!

12 years has sure gone by fast!  I would have never guessed that we'd be here after 12 years!  So grateful to have our 3 children, our beautiful home, and that jeff has a job he loves.  I'm grateful i get to stay home and raise our children who are growing way to fast!  Jeff and I went out to dinner, I had gathered some "old" pics of when we had started dating and when we were first married.  We sat and laughed and reminisced of how young we were, how we had no clue what life would hold ahead for us.  We decided we'd give it another 12 years and reevaluate after that!  Ha!  We thought.. In another 12 years Micah will be home from his mission, halie will be 19, and Brock will be 15.  Lets hope these next 12 Years go by a little bit slower!
