Fall Break

It was so nice to have fall break this year! A few days with no school, sleeping in, staying up late and doing whatever we want!
On Thursday our sectional arrived, and it turned into a neighborhood party... I wish I had a picture of the loads of people that were here evaluating the couch with me (the conclusion was... we are adding another piece to make the couch longer, instead of returning it). We had pizza and chocolate cake and the kids jumped on the trampoline in the dark!
On Friday, my neighbor Cortney took the day off and we decided to take the kids to lunch, the carousel, to the sugar cookie, the boulevard (home furniture) nightmare!, and then to the park !  It was such a fun day!

Riding the "horseys" as Brock would say!

They wanted to sit together, this was the only two seater!  Oh and of course be twins!
They each got their own cookie!  Yum!

The on Saturday we took the razor out to Warner Valley.  It was so fun!  So many places to ride.  Love spending this time with my family!
Brock loves the razor!  He'll say "razor ride" all the time!  It's cute!
Micah always pulls the razor on and off the trailer and now Brock has his very own job... Pulling the pins out and putting in the pins in. He runs as quick as he can to do his job, and don't try to mess with him, he'll get mad if you even try to help!
This right here is called a few two many red vine licorics, mixed with dirt.
Successful day!

First time to the dentist...

Handled it like a champ!
The only bad thing is... He's got to get RID of his BINKY!  Which I'm not happy about!  But its got to happen... Pray for me:). I'm pretty sure it's going to be 100x harder than potty training:(

Apparently...

She's changing the way her name is spelled! Not only on her school work but she also wrote her name in permanent marker on her water bottle! When I asked her about this she said she added another e at the end because it LOOKS WAY CUTER!

Staheli Farm (Annual Trip)

Every year we go to Staheli farm with the cousins!  Cara invited us to her house this year and we had Red Devils and yummy treats before heading to the farm!  It was fun:)
The group grows every year!  Here are all the kids!  A little taller this year!
They were all excited!

First stop... The donkeys!  Brock climbed right up on the fence!
Halie is in LOVE with brooke!
Checking out the turkeys!
Travis pushed Halie on the swing!
Brock's favorite attraction!  He pumped water for a good 20 min.  So fun!

Halies favorite thing was the rope swing!
Family photo...
Micah ran off with the cousins most the time, so I didn't get many pictures of him!  His favorite thing was being old enough to roam free!

It's officially fall! (Now if it could just get a little cooler!)

Cousins!

What's a trip up north without visiting Ruthie and Macky!  While we were at conference halie stayed with Ruthie and had a blast!
These two were two peas in a pod!
If one a had car, the other had to have one.  They were so cute together!!  Just like the girls they are so much alike!!
Everyone cheered for Brock while he went to bathroom on the big boy toilet!
We think Brock grew a foot and that Macky might be a football player!
And these girls are definitely going to be fashion models! Love them!

Megan made yummy soup for us!  We. Had a blast!

First Trip to Conference

Jeff and I have NEVER been to conference!  I don't know why we've never gone, but for some reason this year jeff got the itch to go and I am so glad he asked for tickets and actually got some!  We were so excited to be at the conference center, and take just Micah on this special date!  We drove up Friday afternoon, and came home Saturday night but it was a great quick trip!
Getting ready to hop on tracks!  It was FREEZING!

Micah was BEYOND excited!  He loves trax!

I was trying up get Micah to eat, he held that cracker the whole train ride, he said he was to excited to eat!

We sat by a lady on the train that came all the way from London, England to be @ Conference!  Micah couldn't believe it!
There were SOOO MANY PEOPLE!  It was amazing!  A few protestors.  They made Micah nervous, he held our hands. Look at that smile!  He was thrilled to be there!
And we made it!  It's so pretty there!
Cutest boy. He loved every second!

Wow!  It was fun watching all the seats fill in!  Wondering where everyone came from!
So glad to be his mom!!  He said a few times.. Didn't it feel Weird in there, and I said what do you mean, weird good, or weird bad?  He said a good weird.  That Micah is the spirit I told him!  He's growing up so fast!  He really is such a good kid, spiritually wise beyond his years.  He's always LOVED church and he will be the best missionary one day!

Reading "Group"

Halie goes to a little reading group for reading everyday @ school.  Apparently getting a 85 % on her dibels test puts her in the very low of the class.  Who knew our school was filled with such brilliance!  But anyways, the program is awesome so I signed the paper and thought it definitely can't hurt!  Her reading teacher is awesome and sends me notes home weekly about how well halie is doing!

I laughed when this note came home!  I'm glad someone appreciates my efforts in dressing her!! Ha! Too funny!
She is doing awesome!

And I must say she does look like a doll most days!

Lucky Little Lady

This girl had about the BEST DAY EVER this week!  She came running in the door from school announcing that she was student of the month with Micah behind her saying how they called her name over the microphone!  She was thrilled... And then...
We headed to gymnastics where she got "team captain" and got a king size candy bar!  Her day couldn't have been any better!
Oh and the day before this her reading teacher called and told me that she scored so high on her recent test and is doing so awesome that she doesn't really need to be in reading recovery (which I told them in the first place) She said when she tested her before she must have been nervous because in the 3 weeks she's been going she's worked miracles!  Ha!  This is one smart cookie right here! So proud of her!  (See previous post!)
