Saying goodbye is never fun.

We are so excited for Micah and Whitney and Nixon. But sad for us!  It was hard saying goodbye to this sweet baby and Micah and Whitney!  It has been so
Fun having them so close!  They came up and we bopped down there often.  I will try to pretend they are still in Vegas and only an hour and a half away, until I can get there to see them
Next summer!  Love you guys!  And sooooo jealous!

Gymnastics Meet 2014

Halie had a meet at Barefoot Gymnastics the weekend of Easter.  She did awesome!  She scored higher on everything but the beam this time Around. So proud of her! It is a lot of work, and very nerve wracking!  A little bribery had to happen!

Easter 2014

Easter was fun this year.  It was actually
Quite quiet which doesn't usually happen on holidays around here.  We woke
Up to Easter Baskets from the Easter Bunny.  And jeff had planned an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. They each had 7 eggs of one color.  He had a bunch of clues, and they had fun trying to figure out where the eggs were!  Micah especially loved it!  We had crepes for breakfast and went to church.  Then came home and had a huge Easter dinner with ham and potatoes and eggs. It was delicious.  Megan's and her fam
came over for an Easter Egg hunt. It was the perfect day.
Love these munchkins.
Brock was completely uncooperative!
Getting ready for the hunt!
Love his boy!
Halie looked like a doll!
And wanted to know if there was really an Easter Bunny!  {of course there is}
Our house has never looked so cute!  Love the eggs on the grass.
Our shutters were installed and halie has asked if she can have the job of cleaning them all "because she just loves to clean shutters" - she's hired!
Brock making sacrament fun?!
Halie wondering if she was the cutest dressed.
Kids searching for their eggs!
Halie helping Brock.
Finding their baskets!

Spent the day...

In our swim suits from last year.  And it was so nice!

Spring Break

The kids and I packed up and headed to California for our spring break!  We had so much fun with my parents!  We ate delicious food at canyon crest, we visited my moms school, went on fun walks, ran to all the good stores and had lots of thriftys ice cream.  We slumbered downstairs and fell asleep watching drive in diner & dives.  Thanks mom and dad for a funweekend!

Visit with Grandma Rosell

While in California for spring break we were able to stop in to see grandma Rosell.  I just love her!  What an amazing woman!
They had moved her chair by the sliding glass doors so she could "see out the window" at the kids playing at the playground, even though she's blind, she talked about how much more wonderful it was sitting there.  She gazed its direction, I wondered how much she could see.  Halie did her gymnastics routine in the grass as grandma watched and said things like "isn't that wonderful, look how beautiful you are."  Seriously grandma is the best!
We fed Fred.
And patted his back...
Halies finger got snipped.  (She survived) but grandma rosell was very worried.  It was so sweet.
We went across the street to the pool where we would spend countless hours with our cousins.  Now a tadpole finding spot.  The kids caught tadpoles with aunt Debbie.
Brock just loved dumping the water back and forth!

No, the did not survive.  But it was fun anyways!
And grandma Rosell loved the tadpoles.
We snagged a few kisses.
And after a long, darling Rosell wave we were off.

Sometimes I wish I could rewind time.  Sometimes I wish I could freeze time.  But time keeps moving on.  This lady has sure made the best of the time she has had!  And I just love her!
