A Kindergarten Tradition....

When I was little my Grandma and Grandpa Rosell had a tradition of taking each of their (what would become 50) grandchildren on a special trip before starting kindergarten to get a new school outfit. I can remember it like it was yesterday! I can't remember the exact restaurant but I remember going to lunch with them and that I got a grilled cheese sandwich and fries all to myself! I felt so special, after lunch we went and got my cute little outfit which was a plaid skirt with a white button up shirt!

Well my cute mom is carrying on that tradition and Micah being the oldest grandchild was the first to go on this special trip! My mom took Micah to the mall and let him pick out a cute outfit and a couple extra shirts! What a lucky boy! He is looking forward to kindergarten and this got him more excited! Thanks mom!

We did celebrate!

I forgot to post these pix! On the 24th of July we went to the Washington City Parade. It was fun... the kids always get excited about parades! We had a great time, Cara and Jason and kids, our friends Tennille and Chuck and Jenny Raegan and little Blake were all there. It was fun to spend time with friends and family!

Who is Emily?

So Halie has an imaginary friend? Is this normal... or is this a sign of something? She talks to "Emily" she plays with "Emily" she blames things on "Emily" and sometimes she says she can't find her! It is quite funny... and I think that is why she continues to talk about her!

I am so excited! So I got an itch this morning and decided... Jeff is out of town... Micah needs school clothes.. there is nothing in St. George!! so why not go to Vegas to school shop? (Can you believe he starts kindergarten in exactly 2 weeks!) So I called up my friend Tennille and I didn't have to twist her arm to long to convince her to go with me... so she took the day off work and we headed down to Vegas! FUN FUN FUN is all I have to say.

It is so nice when you go shopping with someone that shops like you.

1 week vacation in California + 1 week recooperating= Finally a post with picture OVERLOAD!

Family Vacation 09 was a success! We had a wonderful time! We left for California Tuesday afternoon, arrived at my parents (gma&gpa's) visited and got to bed so that we would have lots of energy for Disneyland! Wednesday (Jeff's Bday) we went to Disneyland! (Pictures of Disneyland to come soon and lots of stories but my dad is sending me all my pix.. so I am waiting for my disc) On Thursday we recooperated from our trip to Disneyland and got packed and ready for our Rosell Family Reunion in Big Bear! Here are some pictures of our Reunion!

I think at some point we counted 92 people.. it might not be the exact amount of people.. but pretty amazing for being just my cousins, aunts, uncles, and a few great grandchildren! up to Megan's this past weekend and got to be there as she had the fetal photos done! It is amazing how clear the pictures were! She is so cute!

Me: Because why?
Halie: Cause I my other ones are all wet!
Me: Why are they all wet? (already knowing the answer)
Halie: Cause I went to the bathroom in them!

Oh boy... here is the outfit she choose to change into all by herself without me even knowing she had an accident... like I wouldn't notice she changed! Haha!
