( I think if you click on this you can see it bigger!)Micah's party was so much fun! We decided to do a pirate party because he loves going on treasure hunts. It worked out perfect because they had a ton of Pirate Party stuff at the dollar store... when the kids showed up we turned them into pirates with bandanas and eye patches! They all got swords that I had made out of water noodles, we played pin the treasure on the map, we went on a treasure hunt, and played sink the ship (the kids split into teams... drew pirate ships with chalk on the cement... and then we used black water balloons to "sink" the other teams ship!) it would have been really fun if the balloons actually popped... but they just bounced off the cement... so the kids stomped on them and it turned out to be pretty entertaining! :) We also painted pirate ships that I cut out of scrap wood! It was alot of fun... When we were done with the pirate stuff we played in the water! Micah came home and said, Thanks mom, that was the best party I have ever had!
