Yep it's happening!

We are swimming in March! YEAH! Yesterday was the nicest day! While Micah was at school Halie and I went and bought our plastic pool for the year... picked up so flowers to plant in our pots and enjoyed a day outside! Just call me mother of the year ... I filled the pool up with hot water ... one bowl at a time from the kitchen sink! So maybe its not as warm as it could be but we needed a little taste of Spring! The kids loved it! We are ready for the sun!

We are definitely summer people!

I WANT MY EARS PEERS

This morning... Halie randomly came out of the playroom and said...

"MOM I WANT MY EARS 'PEERS' LIKE YOU"

In which I replied...

Ok... when you are 12!

and then she grumpily said....

WELL IT'S TAKING A LONG TIME!... and then she picked up her doll and walked away!

I wonder what her little mind thinks sometimes! She is a funny girl!

Ruthie Visits!

Ruthie has learned how to pull hair!

They love looking at her little fingers and toes {what Halie calls tutsees (tootsies)}

Ruthie {and Megan and Mike} came this weekend to visit! What a cute little girl! My kids had so much fun with her! They just wanted to sit and watch her constantly. Wherever she was thats where they wanted to be... Just like with their other cousin Kiley! It is fun to have cousins and to watch them get so excited to be able to spend time together! :) We tried to get some pictures.... got a lot of cute ones of their cute family... Halie would not cooperate so these are the only two we got of the girls!

Dance...

What should I do?

She use to like dance and now all the sudden she gives me this look and

says she doesn't want to go!

So I take her and then after throwing a fit we leave...

And then she is happy!

I guess for now I am going to take her out of dance! I am not a crazy mom that wants my children to be superstars or anything. Just want to give them the opportunity if they want it! Apparently she is not having much fun and tells me she wants to do gymnastics. I love her dance teacher and class but if she doesn't like it why force her right?

This past weekend we were able to go to Salt Lake to celebrate Jeff's grandma's 80th birthday! It was so much fun because Chris, Katey and Kiley were able to come and we don't get to see them often! The kids loved playing with their cousin Kiley, and we enjoyed visiting and being able to see the extended family as well!

Sadly, Katey's mom has been sick for a while now with cancer and passed away today. There are no words I can say that will ease the loss that she and her family are feeling at this time.

I continue to pray for her family that they will find the peace and comfort they need at this time.

It really puts life in perspective and makes you realize how precious our time on this earth is!

Basketball 2010' {Micah}

Lastnight was Micah's final game! He has had a lot of fun playing basketball this season! This was his team! He played on a K-2 league so being the youngest he did pretty good. He needs to be a little bit more aggressive but we were just proud that he got out there and played and enjoyed it!

The last game... he had the ball... it got stolen but he was THRILLED that he actually got the ball in a real game! I wish I got the picture of him running toward us with the biggest smile on his face like he had just made the winning point... nope just got to dribble the ball... that's all he wanted to get the ball in a real game!! SO CUTE!

I was feeling crafty last week and decided to make Halie this little owl doll! She was so excited this morning to take it to church!
