BaBy NeWs!

Micah wrote my this sweet letter a few weeks ago!

(I love you mom, I can't (kat) believe you are having a baby)

My master plan was to have all my kids (4) just a year or two apart and be done by 30.

Well plans quickly changed. Sometimes I wonder why, and other times I am grateful.

My kids couldn't be more excited for our new baby to come!

This letter wouldn't have happened if my "master plan" would have worked!

WE CAN'T BELIEVE IT EITHER!

After a nearly 3 year fertility nightmare

we are thrilled to be expecting a new little baby!

It has been a long rough road! We have done everything but invetro to make this a reality. After medications, shots, "procedures," surgery, and even an artificial insemination failed we finally found out we were pregnant in July of this year, only to find out a few days later that the baby did not make it. We were devastated to say the least and gave up all hope. Micah and Halie did not understand. Their repeated questions about why Heavenly Father would take our baby away were heart wrenching.

Well apparently someone knew I was at the end of my rope! I couldn't take the heart break another month! We found out a month and a half later that I was 6 weeks pregnant!

What a miracle!

It was touch and go for the first nine weeks, we were scared and worried that I would miscarry again, hence the reason we have not told many people until now that I am pregnant!

Now that I am passed the miscarry stage I feel like

we can finally share this great news!

So we took the kids to the doctors this week to find out

wether we are expecting a boy or girl!

Someone was bound to be devastated! Halie wants a girl...

Micah just knows its a boy!

ME: Boy (I am always wrong so I thought that meant it would be a girl!)

Jeff: I don't know

Little Micah: BOY (Since day one!)

Halie: Girl (Until we found out then she changed her guess!)

Grandma Ruth: Girl (last minute change)

Grandpa Jim: Boy

Marc: Boy (don't even need an ultra sound he was so sure)

And we couldn't be HAPPIER! Now on to shopping for this new little guy!

Star of the Week!

Halie was Star of the Week this week at pre school! Which was perfect because it was also the week of her birthday so it killed 2 birds with 1 stone! :) I took her birthday/star of the week treat to class on "Black and White" day at her school and made it into a fun Halloween surprise!

Unfortunately she can't suck her thumb with fake nails! This will save me a lot of money!

Halie's Baby Birthday! (4)

Halie requested a Baby Birthday? What is this you ask... well I was

not sure at first and then it turned out kind of fun! :) All the girls were told to bring their favorite baby doll, and we played dolls! It was so fun! Enjoy the pix!

Each girl got her own diaper bag (purple backpack) full of things to take care of her baby! Like a bottle, blanket, pacifier, rattle and diapers!

Then we played a little game!

We rolled the dice and had to do what it said: Change babies diaper, feed baby, baby wants to sleep! It was so cute! Some of the girls got so into it!

Dear Soccer...

Why do I sign my kids up for you every year? Why do I think that this year will be different? And why did I think Halie would play?

She might even look a little athletic...

BUT DON'T LET THIS PICTURE FOOL YOU! Jeff was right behind her bribing her! Might have been her only time on the field all year!

All these cute little girls get out there and play... for the most part! NOT HALIE! How many more weeks till' this nightmare is over? HAHA!

And Micah....

He is doing ALOT better this year! He actually plays! His games are getting competitive and we have had fun watching him. It is just a big commitment, and lets be honest... I don't have a competitive bone in my body... I could care less if he wins or loses! Is that bad?

Micah is mid air in this picture! It has been fun seeing him get so excited about soccer... finally!

Next year... Micah can play (maybe) and there is no way I am signing up Halie!
