Funny Friday...

"OOOPS-EDLY"... Halie's word of the week! She "OOOPSEDLY" colored on the floor... She "OOOPSEDLY" hit Micah... She "OOOPSEDLY" spilled her drink!

Micah's 6th Birthday....

Home Depot Style...

I had so much fun getting ready for Micah's Home Depot Birthday Party! It was fun doing something different! It turned out so cute with all the orange/building stuff!

The kids using building blocks(I hand cut and sanded out of my scrap wood.. I know mother of the year! ha ha) to build towers.... houses... buildings etc. at the beginning of the party.

AND ON TO... The TOOL BOX KITS! Each kid got a Home Depot Apron, and a kit to build their own tool box.

All my bro's and their wife's surprised us and came! Thank goodness...

We went on a tool hunt! I had hidden 60 tools in the backyard and the kids had to find them.. they all got their own screwdrivers for their tool boxes.

This ^ lady is one of those friends that will vacuum your whole house before your party just because she wants to help me stay sane! Then stay for the whole party and help do everything!!! SHE IS MY LIFE SAVER! Thanks for all your help Tennille!

Eating our Hot dogs with our "Crush"ing Machine soda... Wrecking Balls (Cheese balls) Building blocks (cheese its)! Yum Yum!

We opened lots of wonderful gifts! This was what he really wanted... a BB GUN! Help me... he got a gun, pocket knife, and sling shot.... I don't want him to be old enough for this stuff!

I convinced him that cupcakes with toppers were so much cooler than a cake... WORKED! Perfect... Stuck 6 candles on a cupcake and called it good! He loved it!

YEAH! What a fun party!

Happy Birthday Micah Moo! (Can I still call him that now that he is 6?)

Funny Friday...

I asked Halie one night while putting her to bed:

How did you get so pretty?

Halie replied: Cause Jesus Made Me!

Then she asked: When Jesus made me... did he make me with CLOTHES ON?

I said no... that's why he sent you to me so I could buy you clothes!

{Remember to tell your dad that! Haha!}

When asked by Grandma Rhea on the phone.. What are you doing? Halie replied... Just watching a EPISODE of Jon and Kate Plus 8!

Funny Friday...

Micah has been in to telling Halie all about Preschool lately. I think he wants to make sure she is prepared! He keeps telling her random things... here are a few that make me laugh:

Micah to Halie:

"Halie.. When you need to go to the bathroom... don't get scared, well I did the first time I went to the bathroom at preschool, but Ms. Julie is in that other room next to the bathroom, so after I saw that I wasn't even scared anymore!"

"Halie at the end of the year party the biggest hit was the bounce house! It was so fun! And you just need to remember the most important rule... YOU CANNOT TAKE THE POPSICLES into the bounce house, or OHH you will be in so much trouble! Ok Halie!

Halie replies: Ok Micah, are there dolls to play with there?

I love turning my music off in the car and listening to the conversations these to have! It cracks me up!

Micah also asked his friend Taylor in the car how the first person was ever born, his friend answered with the whole story of Adam and Eve, Micah said oh yeah... I forgot about Adam and Eve.... and then they had a baby and then the baby grew up and had a baby... I get it!

Then Halie pipes in with "ADAM AND EVE.. Like CHRISTMAS EVE?"

Sometimes Micah sounds so much like a grown up... like what kid says "the biggest hit was..." so funny!

So stinkin' cute!
