YOU ARE THANKFUL....

THAT I CHANGED MY HEADER! Haha! I read your mind! Yes it has been Easter here on my blog all year!... And it might be Thanksgiving till' Easter rolls around again.. but hey I'm a busy lady {or just lazy!} We are excited to head up to the cold this week to spend Thanksgiving with the Hyde Fam! I can't wait for the yummy dinner and of course left overs! :) We are surprising the kids and taking them to the Polar Express Train ride in Heber Valley I can't wait! I will share pix next week for sure! :) Have a fabulous week!

Soccer 09' GO RED SHARKS!

Micah LOVED playing soccer this year an actually got in the game and played! {So what if it took him two years to warm up! haha} Jeff was the coach and we had a good group of boys!... Soccer done... now on to BASKETBALL!

Oh the joys of sports... if one is done.. another is starting! :)

CHRISTMAS TREE ADVENTURE 09'

This tree didn't make it home... we found better ones!!

Thank goodness for our Tahoe... Fit two trees on top!

Every year we think about how fun it will be to spend a day driving up to Cedar Mountain to search for the perfect tree! And every time we are done we vow that next year we would rather spend the money and just buy one! But once again we went... and it was cold and muddy... we almost slid off the side of the mountain... and after cutting down a few trees (oops) we finally found the right ones! Matt and Becky got a huge tree, and we got a tall skinny tree. After getting our trees we went to Pizza Factory to see Janelle who was working! It was a fun day overall!

Once our tree was decorated it looked pretty good! We are ready for Christmas!

Princesses On ICE!

We went up to Salt Lake this weekend to see Princesses on Ice with our friend Matt, Melissa and Ella, and Megan and Ruthie! It was such a cute show!

Halie and Ella {our little princesses!} They loved the show! I don't think Ella took her eyes off the princesses the whole time! It was darling!

These two girls are just 12 days apart! I remember when we were both pregnant with them! Now they are 3! They have an arranged friendship!

HAHA! Glad they both like girly things!

Halie turned to me at some point and said... Cinderella is so cute... I WANT TO HOLD HER! I guess she looked small enough to hold!

Cousins first Slumber party! The kids woke up and Ruthie started to stir so Jeff {a little baby hungry} decided to get her out of her crib while Megan and Mike slept.. next thing I knew Halie and Ruthie were cuddled in her sleeping bag... then Micah made his way over! It was so cute!

You are 3 Halie... not 5!

She thinks she's 5? ... she wants to be 5?... she pretends she is going to Kindergarten... she wants to do everything her big brother does.. and she wants to be just like him... but we have to remind her that she is 3! I can't believe she is 3! What happened to my tiny sweet baby!

She is growing up way to fast!

"Halie what kind of cake do you want"... "ahmmm a pink-ish one!"

At age 3 Halie:

is taking dance {at On Stage Dance} and loves it!

loves everthing girl... dolls, purses, makeup, dress up, jewelry, etc.

trys to keep up with her brother

when trying to teach her her letters she told me SHE WANTS TO BE PRETTY NOT SMART!

loves going to the library with her brother and kind of cousins (Camden, Avery and Sydney)

wants to have twins... and names all her dolls after Avery and Sydney

she likes to "collect"/steal things from us or her Aunt {often I find lost items in her purses or shopping cart}

she wakes up every morning and says "I want to be pretty" which means she wants her pull ups off and wants to get dressed!

loves to sing {completely off tune!} and dance.... she is quite the little performer

LOVES HER SILKY BLANKEY! ... no matter how dirty and disgusting it is!

still sucks her thumb

sleeps in her big girl bed and has always been a pretty good sleeper!

says the most random funniest things {you never know what she might say or repeat}

she tells me that she loves her dad and that Micah loves me!

she loves to help fold laundry

she loves to do summersaults and is doing them as I am typing this.. "Mom wanna see I jump and do a summersault" she is to cute!

Halie is such a fun little girl! She makes me laugh and smile everyday! I am so glad to be her mom, and am proud of the big girl she is!

Trick or Treat.. Smell my feet!

My kids (especially Halie) thinks this is the funniest thing to say... and Jeff gets so mad and it makes her want to say it even more! Pretty funny! Tick or Teat smell my feet.... I pull down your undawear! This is what we heard the whole week leading up to Halloween! Here are pics finally of our Halloween. Due to the passing of a close family friend we ended up in California on Halloween day, it was a sad weekend but my kids had fun being at Grandma/pa's!

Halie was our "MOVIE STAH" {star} Micah was he BODYGUARD and I was the PAPARAZZI!.. Jeff had a shirt that said Halie's Manager... but he had to stay home so here is a picture of the 3 of us!

This was a perfect idea for these two... Micah is totally Halie's protector... she was nervous trick or treating and Micah put his arm around her and helped her pick out the candy. Micah is such a good big brother {most of the time} :)

And don't worry she had the attitude to go with it!
