aLl iN a DaY...

So my parents came up for literally 24 hours... Came Sunday afternoon left Monday night(the week before Easter)... and boy do they have more energy than me!

In the day they were here we....

Had the First McRae Cousin Easter Egg Hunt (at Uncle Matt's House)

Grandma bought the kids matching Spring dresses (3 different ones)

and Micah a new outfit for school!

Went for a walk to the Coral Canyon Park!

Made out like a bandit... Micah filled up bags with candy!

Halie loved her make-up candy!

Halie is obsessed with holding Ruthie "standing up" This was the night we stayed up way to late! :) HAHA! Two cute girls!

We played... went to Texas Road house... all 15 of us... got pretty loud! (no picture) went shopping... visited with all my siblings and their spouses... stayed up way to late

AND HAD ALOT OF FUN!

A GOOD BIG BROTHER!

Halie was sick this weekend.. Jeff and I were busy painting.. working in the yard.. and Micah being the good brother he is was so sweet taking care of Halie. He got her a sippy cup, a blanket.. and made sure she was taken care of all day! He is such a sweet boy and loves his sister Halie!

I am like you...

Halie cracked me up today when I looked over at her and she was putting Micah's CTR ring on her toe... she kept looking at my foot to make sure she got it on the right toe...

And then she said "Look mom.. I am like you... a mommy!" I have had this toe ring on since like highschool. I never take it off... it is just there.. I don't really even notice it... but obviously Halie has noticed it! She picks up on everything! She also tells me almost every day that her hair is almost long enough to be a mommy! She was born to be a mother!

and Please bless that we won't be scared, {She has been scared going to bed at night}

and PLEASE BLESS THAT "WE" WILL GET ME A BARBIE JEEP!

Halie thought she was pretty sly tonight sneaking getting a Barbie Jeep into her prayer! Guess a kid has to have faith why not have faith in getting a Barbie Jeep! I had to take a picture when she was done cause it was just too cute! I love to hear her little prayers and keep meaning to ask her primary teacher if she says "please bless mom will get a baby in her tummy" during her prayers in her Sunbeams class... it is the first thing she says in every prayer! Keep praying... it might be a while.. no luck yet! :( ... And Halie keep praying about the barbie jeep... apparently the barbie bike wasn't good enough! HAHA!

School Picture Day!

Sometimes for me it might be worth it to just pay someone else to take this little guys pictures... cause this is the look I get from my sweet little Micah when I want to take his picture... and I take about ten that look like this....

Today is school picture day... I hope they get a cute smile from him! He usually does better for others.. lets hope! :)

SiStEr WiLl pLaY!

Halie thinks she is so sneaky and funny when Micah is at school or at his friend Taylors house! It is hilarious! She will come out with one of his toys... or asks to ride his dune buggy! Today I found her wearing Micah's roller skates! Oh how mad he would be if he was home! Silly Halie!

BORN TO BE A MOM!

Halie is busy all day being a little mother! I was busy cleaning today... next thing I know she has all her dolls sitting in chairs and she told me they were playing house! I love that you can give her a doll and she can be entertained for hours!

St. Patricks Day!!

My kids love St. Patrick's Day because the Leprechaun's come every year and make a mess of our house and leave yummy candy! This year Micah thought he might be able to catch a Leprechaun.. he set a little trap by his door. Unfortunately he didn't catch one this year!

Ashley's Baby

We were excited to go up at the end of Spring Break to see Ashley and Kurtis' new little bundle, Avery! She is so tiny and cute! I did some pictures of her...

Fun with Cousins!

One day during Spring Break we decided to have my cousin Cara's kids come over for the day! She is pregnant with her 4th and due in May! She is mother of the year in my eyes! She is always doing fun things with her kids! I thought it would be nice for her to have a day without kids! And my kids were so excited to have friends over! We had so much fun! We played... watched a movie... made monsters... had lunch (Micah had fun playing airplane with Sydney.. trying to get her to eat) Avery and Halie played primary... and we all had a blast! Spring Break Fun...

No school? What to do... what to do? We went to Megan's the end of the week.. but during the beginning of the week we had to be pretty creative on keeping the kids busy... so we did projects... like this... Micah and Halie love projects!

Now we are ready for St. Patty's Day!

Moms and Muffins!

Today was my first "Moms and Muffins" with Micah at school. Sandstone does this every year and Micah was so excited all week to go... until he had to wake up at 8 to go! He was so worried (surprise) asking a million questions as usual last night before bed...

Well mom... do you think they will buy the muffins or make them?

What if they run out?

How long do you think the line will be?

Do you think the people that own the school like the principal will be there or will it just be kids and the moms?

And then he answered his own questions he thought for sure they would be making the muffins because then the wouldn't run out... and if we got there early enough we wouldn't have to wait in line...and for sure the principal would be there cause he would have to unlock the doors! He is a smart little boy! I need to record his little voice when he is trying to ask these questions he gets so excited and can't quite get all the words out fast enough! It is so cute!

I loved going to Moms and Muffins with you Micah... Love you little monkey!

Yep it's happening!

We are swimming in March! YEAH! Yesterday was the nicest day! While Micah was at school Halie and I went and bought our plastic pool for the year... picked up so flowers to plant in our pots and enjoyed a day outside! Just call me mother of the year ... I filled the pool up with hot water ... one bowl at a time from the kitchen sink! So maybe its not as warm as it could be but we needed a little taste of Spring! The kids loved it! We are ready for the sun!

We are definitely summer people!

I WANT MY EARS PEERS

This morning... Halie randomly came out of the playroom and said...

"MOM I WANT MY EARS 'PEERS' LIKE YOU"

In which I replied...

Ok... when you are 12!

and then she grumpily said....

WELL IT'S TAKING A LONG TIME!... and then she picked up her doll and walked away!

I wonder what her little mind thinks sometimes! She is a funny girl!

Ruthie Visits!

Ruthie has learned how to pull hair!

They love looking at her little fingers and toes {what Halie calls tutsees (tootsies)}

Ruthie {and Megan and Mike} came this weekend to visit! What a cute little girl! My kids had so much fun with her! They just wanted to sit and watch her constantly. Wherever she was thats where they wanted to be... Just like with their other cousin Kiley! It is fun to have cousins and to watch them get so excited to be able to spend time together! :) We tried to get some pictures.... got a lot of cute ones of their cute family... Halie would not cooperate so these are the only two we got of the girls!
