24th Of JULY!

I was out of town for the 4th Of July this year... helping my sister plan her wedding! So I was really excited when the 24th rolled around ... and I could see the kids reactions to fireworks... sparklers... etc. Halie had no real reaction... she just held the sparklers like she was to nervous to even move... Micah LOVED all the fireworks.. he couldn't get enough!

Whenever Micah is concentrating on something his face looks like this ^... it is so funny!

Every night... and I mean EVERY NIGHT... Micah wants to know what he can help with while I am cooking dinner.. and he sits there are begs until I find something for him to do to help. So tonight Jeff was going to be home late for dinner so I had time to waste! I let Micah make our dinner.. GOURMET HOMEMADE PIZZA.. all by himself! He was so excited!! He ran into Halie's room and got the Chef's hat out and dug in! He did a pretty good job! Thanks Chef Micah for a great dinner!

"COOT"

So I was at Walmart today picking up a few items.. and at the front doors was a cute little girl selling flower clips... being the sucker I am ... I had to buy some for Halie! The girl was so excited that I was going to buy some... that I had to! Anyways we came home... I took Halie in her bathroom and put her hair in pigtails.. put the flower clips in her hair... and before I could say anything she said.... "COOT" (CUTE)! Halie talks a little bit.. but not much.. because Micah does most the talking around here... so when she said this I thought it was just adorable.. I got my camera out and took some pictures and kept telling her...you are right.. you are COOT!

JEFF MOVED INTO HIS OFFICE!

Jeff FINALLY moved into his new office... We were losing hope there for a while! But he finally moved in and it is so nice! I have been shopping for stuff to decorate it! I want to put some updated pictures of the kids so I tried to take some pictures of the kids last night... here they are!.. Needless to say I will be taking more.... as soon as i re-coop from lastnigths' shoot! We are going over tonight to start haning stuff up... I will take pictures and add them!

MICAH TURNS 4!!

Where does time go? It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital... and now he is FOUR! He has grown so much! For his birthday this year all he really wanted was a skateboard... so that is what he got! He was so excited! I thought it would be another toy that would sit in the garage.. but he has been praciting riding it... and he actually has pretty good balance.. I am impressed! I think I will now have to invest in some knee pads! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICAH! WE LOVE YOU AND ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!

At Age 4 Micah:

Rides his bike

Loves going to the library

Loves the Water Park

Goes to Nancy's almost everyday to sing primary songs and play

Is a big helper with his Sister Halie

Has 2 pet fish (thanks to Uncle Micah!)

Knows all his shapes including hexagon, octagon, and rhombus!

Knows all letters and sounds

Is starting to blend sounds together

Has a temper

Loves to talk on the phone to his grandparents

Loves eating chips and fiesta dip... for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

FARM PRESCHOOL

Well farm preschool wasn't quite what we thought it would be. Micah was so excited to start farm preschool for the summer. We saw all these farm animals at the park one day and they were advertising for preschool out at Staheli Farm.. so I signed Micah up thinking it was going to be every Tuesday and Thursday for an hour and a half for the summer... well come to find out.. the $50 was for TWO DAYS ONLY... not the whole summer... so lets just say besides our trip to Disneyland later this summer.. these two days are probably are most expensive days of the summer... oh well what could I do... say I want my money back and drag Micah away kicking and screaming...no... I just paid the money and made sure he enjoyed every moment!

And he did.. He was so cute feeding the animals... going on the tractor ride... and learning about the farm.
