Busy few weeks!

The day before everyone came up
To visit for Halloween jeff called and told me he had an eye appointment.., that his eyes had been bugging him.  Long story short he is pretty much blind in his left eye and never told me that it had gotten this bad.  They referred him immediately to a specialist in Provo and we headed up the following week.

Here he is having his eyes tested!
He could barely make out the H!  Poor guy!  I felt so bad!
Brock came with us on this quick trip and was a trooper!
Megan and mike watched him while we were at the dr appointment. @ The appt we found out he would have to have surgery on his left eye as soon as possible.  We scheduled for the following week. Then we went to lunch with them!  So excited that they'll be moving down here soon!!
And these 2 stayed with Matt!  He has been a great help!
Brock was so happy to be spoiled rotten on our trip... And after some whining we figured out all he wanted was some popcorn!  Back to reality knowing wed make the same trip the following week!
Halie brought this picture home in her birthday folder!  I was laughing so hard... Apparently she told the class she loved getting pedicures with her mom!
Micah has been dedicated to the choir going early to school every Tuesday and Thursday.  He had his first performance and did awesome!  It was for Veterans Day and they sung their hearts out!  It was darling!

They hate me for wanting to take pictures!
Oh and I was an awesome mom and on a warm Saturday afternoon let the kids pull out the water tunnel!
If you zoom in on this ^ picture you will see behind Brock to them left a few men in white shirts!  While shopping at Walmart, Brock out of nowhere shouts "mish-ah-air-e-s". I looked up to see 4 missionaries standing there!  You would have thought he saw Mickey Mouse!  Who knew that his little brain remembers everything!  I always make a point to say hi to the missionaries or point them out to my kids!  It was so cute to see him so excited!
Same day Brock refused to eat at the table, but ate off the floor instead, like a dog!  Silly boy!  We enjoyed having his little friend Brayden over:)
And later that afternoon I caught him red handed^

He is non stop:). And often ill find things lined up, and when I do I know Brock has been there!  We decided to leave him home while we went back up for Jeff's eye surgery.
Here Jeff is all ready to go under the knife.  It was a little scary, when we got there his cornea wasn't measuring thick enough.  I sent a quick text out asking for prayers and after 30
Minutes of special drops they were able to thicken his cornea enough to continue with the procedure!
Here he is hiding from the sun on the way home!
He did amazing!  Felt great, and he refused to let me pamper him.  I finally got him to rest after he unpacked the
car, & helped the kids with homework!    He was suppose to take the rest of the week off but went to work the next afternoon!
Then it was Friday!  And another adventure began!:). My dad and Micah and Whitney come up and we partied!

I bought this awesome mirror for my entry:)
We all hung out, ate way to much candy and had a blast!
Halie was obsessed with Whitney and Nixon which was so cute!  They left after lots of fun last night!
Today we went to church and were grateful for answered prayers on Jeff's behalf!  Brock didn't want to leave nursery today and was trying to sneak back in!^. Glad these last two weeks are behind us!  We Are ready for the fun holiday season!!

Halies prayer for Jeff

"Please bless that dad will have a good time at his eye surgery"
She said this every night for a week!  Jeff would open his eyes and look at me and smile... It was the sweetest thing!  Love her!

Halloween Night

We LOVE our new neighborhood!  It's so fun!  We have the best neighbors and we all decided to plan a neighborhood Halloween bash!  We ordered bounce houses and slides, had "hay rides" and had a chili cook off.  It was SO FUN!
Setting up the festivities.  I had to
Sacrifice my appearance for
This to happen.
All the neighbor kids!  Started with just 5 in May and now over 22!
Dishing up dinner!
So many fun people!
The slide was AWESOME!
Brock was the only one of my children who wore his costume happily!
The whole neighborhood on our trailer!  So fun! (Halie wore her costume for a total of 5 minutes.. For this picture only!)
He got filthy!
Notice halie didn't wear her costume trick or treating!  Little stink bug!
The best way to trick or
Treat!
Love living by cousins!  We stopped by Mary's and Travis joined us for a bit!

Cutest wind up
Mouse I've ever seen!
Half way through trick or treating Brock kept saying "I wanna go home". He was so tired!  He sat with Matt on the razor and fell dead asleep!
I didn't have the heart to wake him up and change him from his costume.  He looked way to cozy and cute!
We then went down stairs and dumped out our loot!  The kids scored this year!
Then we had a surprise visitor!  It was such a fun fun night!

#Latergram?

Later-blog?  Can i hash tag in a blog? I was just going through and deleting notes on my phone, old grocery lists, and I came across this:
This summer, while the boys were at Beaver, halie and I had a little girls weekend!  How did I never post about it?  We had the best weekend, all to ourselves.  Halie was so cute!  It was fun having long conversations with her!  Listening to her little dreams, and realizing she'll be my best friend for life!  She insisted we matched when we went out shopping / to dinner.  She picked my outfit, then went upstairs to get her a matching get up!

She begged to wear a little makeup!
She wanted pictures of us together!
And a few of herself!
Such nice poses!
She chose where we are every meal including soup and breadsticks at Judd's!
We tried on clothes...
And even bought a few!
And we can't wait till next year when we can be boy free again!
